June 2011
From CAMRA - Red Truck Brewing's Belgian Blonde Ale, their latest seasonal, is now on tap at Taylor's Crossing. Brewmaster David Varga describes this as a very fruity ale with lots of banana esters, and a fairly dry finish with a faint tartness reminiscent of apple cider. David used the same yeast as Brasserie d'Achouffe so it should share some of that same characteristic flavour, but with a lower carbonation than most d'Achouffe beers. 6.8% abv. On tap now at Taylor's Crossing, and should be on tap around town in the next few weeks.
